Cottage; Studio + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Nestled in a meadow overlooking its own private pond with a view of the Olympic Mountains, this small cottage has all the peace and tranquility you could want. You can lounge on the porch in your pajamas all day if you like, enjoying the pond and the Bald Eagles nesting in the nearby trees or enjoy easy access to surrounding trails and peaceful roads that lead into the Olympic National Park.
This hideaway is ideal for 2 people but can sleep 4. The main pond-view room has a single window-seat bed, and a sofa that converts to an excellent queen air-bed. You can cook with ease in the full kitchen, complete with everything, including spices and basic amenities. Up the ladder is a roomy loft with a memory-foam queen bed and a single mattress. You will find fine linens, towels, along with plenty of wood should you want to use the wood stove.
The Olympic Peninsula has more diversity than anywhere else in America. You can find almost anything your heart's desire. Ten minutes away are Sequim, Port Angeles, the world's longest sand spit, the ferry to Victoria, B.C., Canada and the Olympic National Park. Within 20 minutes you can venture into the moss covered rain forest, enjoy a stunning glacier carved lake, hike hundreds of miles of wilderness with crystal clear rivers, be awed by sandy rugged beaches and soak in natural hot springs.
Depending on the season a extra charge may be applied for each extra person over the first two guests.

As usual, I am really impressed with the generosity of the amenities that you provide in your cabins. We stayed in the barn cottage before and when we saw the pond cottage I knew would have to do a solo retreat there. After a lot of loss and stress this year it is it is exactly what I needed! I so appreciate the privacy, and yet the access to the national park nearby. Thank you for including things like olive oil, and a hairdryer! Love the woodstove, please keep it! And the generous supply of wood does not go unnoticed :-) Thanks a million👍😻❗️
What a wonderful Get-Away! It was a week of renewal in nature and the cottage was a perfect home for the week. The location close enough to Port Angeles and all of the amazing trails into the forest was terrific. All the beds were comfortable and all the amenities were provided and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We look forward to going back.
We enjoyed our stay (May 2022). Nicely appointed, secluded from other residences in a scenic spot and yet close to town also, our own pond to enjoy, and wildlife present in the evening and mornings (deer, ducks, etc.). Bigger guys like me need to watch their heads in the loft and the ladder to that area is not for everybody - but fine considering it fits the cabin experience well. Overall it was a relaxing site and setup and better than expected. If in the area again in the future, would seriously consider coming back to Pond Cottage. Thanks again!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pond Cottage. The cottage was fully stocked with everything I needed for cooking and we enjoyed watching all the wildlife around the pond. It was a perfect stay-cation, 20 minutes from home but felt far away. (The date of our stay was April 2022, but the calendar wouldn't let me choose the correct year)
Wonderful reviews like this are our best reward for the love and care we put into our homes. Nothing better than a pleased guest who has enjoyed our home and the environment.
The pond cottage was a perfect escape for our family. We were close to all the beauty of the Northern Peninsula, away from the hustle of the normal tourist traffic. The quite and serene backdrop was just the get away we needed. The cabin cabin was stocked with all the kitchen and little home amenties we need to travel with easy. We were able to comfortably sleep all four of us.Suzanne is quick to respond and highly hospitable. We highly recommend them and will be visiting the next time we are back!
This place was magical and provided a perfect escape. Our son was absolutley thrilled with every aspect of this cabin as were we. Pristine with wonderful provisions ....you couldn't ask for much more!!
What a delightful confirmation for the love and care we put into our homes. Learning that what we have here is not only pleasing and comfortable, but that there is a tranquil and rejuvenating place to come in these troubling times is very rewarding.
We loved staying in the Pond Cottage. Even the Teenage grandkids thought is was cute & cool. Thank you for such a wonderful time.
The pond cottage is sheer perfection! Well appointed kitchen and helpful guidebooks. Pleasantly surprised by games and puzzles. The deer came to visit almost every day, we stayed for a week. We also saw a nest full of baby redwing blackbirds. The cottage is warm and welcoming with an amazing window seat for viewing the wildlife, and cookies when we arrived. The location is very convenient to Olympic National park. We are already discussing when we can return. Thanks Suzann!
What a joy this was to read and have what we do affirmed This is the ultimate compliment. We put so much love and care into our homes and when someone notices and appreciates, it is all we could ask for. Another very pleased guest.
We had the most delightfully relaxing weekend at the Pond Cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We intended to do some hiking and exploring, but were just so happy reading, playing music and cooking that we barely left the whole time we were there. The stars were stunning, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the cottage is so whimsical it felt like a fairy tale. We will definitely be back for future weekends when we need a break from busy city life. So grateful to Suzanne and co. for sharing such an amazing part of their world with us.
We booked a weekend for my sons 18th bday to just get away and enjoy nature. We saw eagles and deer and were able to enjoy the nice weather. Everything we needed was provided. Wonderful cabin and service all around.
What a delight to read this review. It is so rewarding to learn that what we provide gives pleasure and enjoyment and a chance to savor this amazing environment.
