You
won't find anything better if you want a natural, Pacific
Northwest atmosphere. You'll love this rustic yet tastefully modern
cabin with its commanding views of the Olympic Mountains, a natural
1/2 acre pond, lush lupine meadows, a seasonal swimming pool and a
year round hot tub. This Log Cabin is the quintessential symbol of
the Northwest
Watch as the Bald Eagles dive for trout in
the pond, or when the Blue Herons lurk for Blue Gills. Fish from the
sturdy log dock, meander though the Lupine fields over to the
orchard, walk or bike the trails and quiet road to the Olympic
National Forest.
Inside this charming log cabin you will find
a gorgeous rock fireplace where you can curl up with a good book on
the cozy couch-lounge. The kitchen has a full gas stove and oven,
microwave-convection oven, and all the amenities for good cooking and
eating, including staples and spices.
The downstairs bedroom
has a queen, foam-pillow-top bed, tastefully amended with fine linens
and quilts and an adjacent bathroom with shower.
In the
upstairs loft there is a bedroom with a queen, foam-pillow-top bed
and one single bed. There is an additional plush foam mattress for
the floor that comes with linens and a quilt or a sleeping bag if
requested. There is a toilet and vanity/sink.
Enjoy the sunny
deck with a table, chairs and barbecue that overlooks Lupine Pond and
a panoramic view of the Olympic Mountains in the National Park.
The
Log Cabin is one of three separate rental cabins on over 20 private
acres. These secluded rentals are a haven for exploring one of the
most diverse environments this continent has to offer--the Olympic
Peninsula.
Only 10 minutes away are Sequim and Port
Angeles, the world's longest sand spit, the ferry to Victoria, B.C.,
Canada and the Olympic National Park, where the road to Hurricane
Ridge takes you to spectacular views of active glaciers in the
Olympic Mountains.
Within 20 minutes you can venture
into the moss covered rain forest, enjoy a pristine glacier carved
lake, hike hundreds of miles of wilderness trails with crystal clear
rivers and majestic waterfalls, be awed by the sandy rugged beaches,
and soak in natural hot springs.
Whether you are a nature
lover who likes to kayak, surf, fish, spot birds, watch whales, bike
or hike trails, or someone who is in search of a perfect quiet
natural setting, you will find your heart's desire.
